U:1 'Party For Your Eyes' set up day

Hey everyone!

Sunday was the day we set up the 'Party For Your Eyes' exhibition and it was a huge success- eventually.

The day started early at 7 (which was really 6 because the clocks jumped forward) and we set off through the mist and the fog, in car and van to Bristol.

After a few hours of throwing fruit around- dancing outside Little Chef and trying to catch some zzz's we arrived in Bristol where we started acting a bit more professional.

For the next SIX hours we nailed/drilled/assembled/tacked/drew/drank tea/bought tools/tried to stay awake/rigged and the result was better than expected!

Included in the exhibition are spinning collaborative windmills, spinning kaleidoscope paintings, spinning fan art, photos, window drawings, paintings, drawings and a spinning umbrella with birds attached.

Here are a few photos of the day-

More photos to come and they will be posted soon!

If you would like to see the exhibition in all its glory then pop over to Knowle, Bristol and go to the Broadwalk shopping centre! We are having a closing party on 9th April from 11am-3 pm and there will be tea and cake and a chance to meet us artists involved.

Thanks for reading!
